My name is Jason Lam. I started Sentinel Coaching in 2015, but I've been Coaching people in the areas of money and career since 2002.

Let me tell you…I absolutely love what I do and seeing the change in people's lives. My journey started way back when I felt like a slave to my job. Somewhere deep inside me, I knew there should be more to life than working at a job to just make money, but I didn't truly know I had options.

I was always "good with money", but I didn't have a purpose. Eventually, my wife and I decided I needed to quit my job so I could "get my life back". That's when I discovered Coaching and helping people live their Ideal Lives through getting organized with their money and finding/creating work that was fulfilling to them.

I quit and semi-retired at age 38 and have been working towards and living my Ideal Life ever since! I'd love to help you feel the same about your life and work too!

I'm Mike Staunton, and like many people I didn't get taught how to handle money.

During my journey of becoming an adult, paying my own bills/taxes, buying houses/cars, and saving for retirement, I quickly realized that I didn't learn how to do any of the above wisely. Much less how to handle any money that came through my hands.

Having poor money habits led to stress and living paycheck to paycheck despite making an above-average household income. Sound familiar?

When I first did my net worth calculation in my early 20's I had come to an embarrassing number! I was worth -$100,000, yup.... I was worth less than $0 on paper!

Through decades of learning how to handle money wisely; my wife and I now have a net worth over $1M and living our Ideal Life. I have been coaching long enough now that clients are hitting the $1M mark too. It gives me so much joy to witness others start living their Ideal Lives while building wealth!
